JV Gold draws Fishers 2-2 in their season opener

Overall a good first game for Noblesville JV Gold.  With limited training sessions, the line-up was ever-changing, with several players in new positions.  While challeging, they adapted well.

A first half goal by Jack Nelson opened the scoring, but Fishers equalized before half.  Gold’s play was more fluid than initial game expectations.  Movement off the ball and ball movement were both good.

The second half continued with Gold having a good deal of possession and felt like the better team.  A goal by Rylan Jenski once more put Gold ahead.  Late in the game things were a bit ragged, and and disapointing equalizer was scored with less the 10 minutes to play.

The team looked good and will work hard to get better and with more time together will have a stong season.
