JV Gold takes its lumps in loss to Carmel

Tough loss at Carmel last night.  Man of the Match Alex Jiminez and the entire defensive unit was strong.  The first goal given up was an inadvertent handball 2 minutes into the game, resulting in a PK goal.  The second goal was a counter-attack long ball that got behind the defense.

Jack Nelson scored our only goal with a nice finish on a long-ish ball from the back.

After 3 games and not many more practices than that, we are still getting our feet underneath us.  A changed formation and personnel adjustments were used last night to solidify our movement forward.  JV Gold was a bit tentative on loose balls and lacked confidence in possession.  We will continue to work on these areas and anticipate improvement in the coming weeks.
